He was appointed by Governor Bob Kerrey and Reappointed by Governor Kay Orr to serve on the Nebraska Economic Development Authority and the University of Nebraska Medical Center Chancellor’s Advisory Board. He has served as an advisor to the US Congressional Office of Technology Assessment (OTA) and as special advisor for the National Congress for Community Economic Development (NCCED) where he assisted in developing programs for Community Development Corporations to become self sufficient through technology based economic development projects.
